Deploying containerized workloads at the edge requires air-gapped, secure, and resource-efficient solutions. Industries like manufacturing, defense, and critical infrastructure need fully independent systems that operate offline, handle real-time processing, and run on constrained hardware.
Running Red Hat OpenShift in air-gapped environments is challenging without internet access for updates and security patches. Traditional deployments rely on online registries and cloud tools, making them unsuitable for classified, defense, finance, and critical infrastructure.
Organizations running OpenShift at scale face high costs, control plane overhead, and complexity. Traditional clusters increase resource consumption, while BareMetal deployments struggle with optimization, scalability, and performance.
I designed an OpenShift-based ALM platform to streamline CI/CD, security, and compliance. It automated workflows, enforced RBAC, integrated artifact management, and provided real-time monitoring. This improved efficiency, ensured compliance, and accelerated software delivery.
